From an early age, we learn quickly how to protect ourselves, unwittingly starting a cycle where fragments of ourselves become scattered. We start creating layers of protection that mask our authentic selves.

The Soul-Mending process uses a wonderful meditative space called journeying to reach your higher self. Journeying allows you to fully enter into a state of subconscious awareness, allowing the healing to begin.

These are the Soul Mending steps:

  1. Starting Point: Start with an emotion or a trigger and frame it as a question. Example: Why do I procrastinate? Why do I fear abandonment? Why can’t I speak my truth?

  2. The Discovery: Journey within to allow your higher self to reveal to you what you need to know at this moment. A memory or series of memories will come into your awareness that will relate to your question. Letting go of any conscious control and allowing your subconscious to guide you is key.

  3. Going Home: Once your fragmented self has been revealed to you, allow your intuition to tell you what words of comfort and reassurance are needed for this part of you to come back home. When your past self is ready and feels safe, a portal of light will appear, and you can walk through it together. This is the path home.

  4. Forgiveness: Return to the same place of the memory that was revealed to you in your Discovery journey. Who is there that you need to forgive? Be open-minded and your subconscious will show you. When your heart knows you are ready to forgive, a portal of light will appear, inviting the person or people to walk through it.

  5. Gratitude: Embrace gratitude for the glowing light within yourself.
